<p>I was lucky enough to paint Nicholas II during his coronation that happened at <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dormition_Cathedral,_Moscow">Moscow Dormition Cathedral</a> in 1896.</p>
<p>Nicholas II was later <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Execution_of_the_Romanov_family">killed by Bolsheviks in 1918</a>. At least he lived 7 years longer than me.</p>
